The Künstlerpinselfabrik DEFET GmbH supports young artists with an ARTIST RESIDENCY programme.

It is the intention of this activity to give young international artists a forum in Nuremberg, to present the local art scene and in the medium term to allow similar studentships in Great Britain for German Artists.

Starting from September 2016 five international master’s graduates, selected by five well-known British art institutes as representatives of contemporary painting will work in the Atelier- und Galeriehaus Defet in Nuremberg for a period of 10 days and in the end they will present their work in the exhibition “Landscapes of Mind”. This theme with all its aspects will be the focus of the artists, Jonathan Kelly, Suzi Morris, Melody Park, David Schroeter and Sam Stopford.
